Volunteering at our local qualifier

Last weekend, we went to one of our local qualifiers and volunteered.  We were referees, field resetters, announcers and helped queue the teams.  It was a lot of fun and nice to help out all the teams that were there.

We had a brainstorming session last night to see what, if anything, we want to change.  Everyone decided that we had changes to make in all 3 areas based on the judges comments.

Now we get to work!

Qualifier Results!

Congratulations to all of the teams at the Dragon qualifier today!  We were very excited to win the robot performance award with 305 points, and to win the 2nd place Championship Award!

We will see everyone at the state competition!

Sharing our ideas

On Monday, we went and shared our research ideas with two members of the community that we thought would benefit:  Dr. Thomas Hickey, a pediatrician with Liberty Pediatrics, and Eileen Osborne, and emergency room nurse with P.G. Hospital.  They both thought our ideas were great!

Qualifier date 12/15!!!

Well, it's a little sooner than we thought it would be, but we're getting ready for our qualifier date of 12/15. We've been focusing on teamwork and the research project lately and have some great ideas!  Our robot game is coming along too!

We're BACK!!!

We're back for the new season, Nature's Fury.  We have reviewed all of the missions and started working on our project.  We're going to be using the EV3 so we have a lot to learn.

We also have added a new member to our team.  Welcome Tyler!
